About This Project

THE PRESIDENT'S SHADOW is a five-part Nigerian political action drama with elements of romance, following Matthew, a young man from a humble family who dreams of becoming President of the United States of Paradise. Starting from a modest family, Matthew works his way through hardship, architecture, and politics while learning from the experienced Chief Daniel Okoro. Along the way, he falls in love with Sandra, faces political betrayal, assassination attempts, powerful enemies, and struggles for influence within government. After overcoming numerous obstacles, Matthew eventually becomes President and begins transforming the country. However, as his power grows, so does his fear of losing it. He begins controlling information, monitoring opponents, and pushing away the people closest to him. His family, Sandra, and even Chief Okoro begin questioning the man he has become. THE PRESIDENT'S SHADOW explores ambition, love, family, political power, loyalty, betrayal, and the consequences of becoming the very thing you once fought against.
